After an absolutely insane and busy July, I'm back!! I have wanted to post and tried a few times, but with my crazy schedule lately, I just haven't found the time. I am truly sorry to all of you who can't start your day with out reading up on the latest Erickson adventures, I know it has been a long trying month, (hee hee) I was even reported to the "blogging police" by Dad. Seriously though, it was nice to know that I was missed, and I will try not to go into hiding again, try being the main word there. I can't make any promises, remember I do have five kids!
I am going to try and fit a months worth of activities into one post so if you choose not to read it all and just look at the photos, I will understand. But to tell you the truth, I have slacked on my picture taking this month as well, so maybe it won't be the longest post ever! I will start with the beginning of July and work my way through up until today, Makes the most sense to me. Let's see if I can remember a month ago!
Right after my last post, we headed to Bozeman for a visit with my parents and for a wedding of one of my best college friends. I was so excited to see her again, I hadn't seen her in a couple of years. The first night we got there we attended a "cowboy BBQ." Laura (my friend) and Steve (her fiancee) came up with a fun themed BBQ for there wedding, just a few days before the "I do's" Everyone was to come dressed in cowboy attire and awards would be given to the best dressed in different categories. I think we were the only one actually dressed in "real cowboy" clothes, but it was a blast. Isabel ended up winning for "prettiest belt buckle" (she refused to wear one of her Dads big buckles and wanted to wear one of her pretty buckles instead and I guess it paid off!) and I took away the prize for the "biggest belt buckle." (it can sometimes pay to be married to a cowboy) The kids had a blast eating and playing on the playground, while I had a great time catching up with my dear friend and meeting her soon to be husband.

You're not alone in the "longest post ever" trying to catch up:) Looks like its been a great summer filled with fun, family and friends! Maybe we can get together next time we're up, and I didn't know Menan had a 5K on the 4th, I'll need to start coming up for that one! Tell Jason and Isabel GOOD JOB:)
Wow! I'm exhausted just reading about your busy summer! Taking a break from blogging just measn that you're involved in much more important things . . . family!! And since you've got five kids, that's exactly what you've been up to this summer. Way to go super mom!
Welcome back Daughter, I love the pics! Thanks for sending the ones of Brownie's birthday presents. Does he really like the Hat? (cause I did) I heard you "tweeked" your knee. Be careful not to push it while it's trying to heal.
See you Friday morning.
What a busy summer! I was getting worried about you! :) I guess that's what having 5 kids will do to your summer! My sister (who also has 5 kids) is always running around all over the place with activities, sports, piano lessons, etc. I seriously don't know how anyone manages beyond 3! I'm beginning to think I'm done with my #3...I just don't think my sanity will last with another child! You are superwoman!
Great pics! Looks like a fun summer. I never heard about Jason doing the 5k, looks like he even broke a sweat!! You'll have to send me some of the pics with my girls from Whitney's wedding. thanks.
Wow!! Your blog is awesome and look at all the things your family does. I don't know how you do it!! Thanks again for helping me Sunday with Sunbeams. Hugs AMy
And I thought I was busy. You are such a soccer mom. You amaze me. I am glad you guys have been having a ton of fun. We should get our families together for a fun night when Sonny comes to town for the week. That sounds a little sad. I am glad you updated your blog. I am somewhat of a blog peeker.
Stacy
glad to have you back. Ava liked all the pictures! I love the one of Isabel & Will trading clothes. That is hilarious. We miss you guys!
