Isabel's baseball team

I thought since I have posted about the other kids and their baseball, I should post about Isabel also. She is having a harder time this year with baseball than last year. Last year she played t-ball, and was a super star, but this year she is playing machine pitch, and it is really hard for her to hit the ball. The pitches are never in the strike zone partly because she is so little, and partly because the machine is so hard to position right.

At her game on Wednesday, she got her first hit! It was really exciting, and she was thrilled. It made her feel like she still has it, and gave her the confidence she needed. As you can see from the video, she just barely beat the first baseman to get on. She has another game tonight, wish her luck!
